Does this taste good? I like NAKED green smoothie. I want my smoothie to taste like that.

i just bought a dual wave hamilton beach, it has 2 motors in 1 unit rated at 1,000 watts and 2 blades.

it makes GREAT green smoothies, which i will be making 3 qts a day with it.

i wouldnt be surprised if it lasts a long time, the durability of their Juicers is excellent , so we will find out

@ACEBAKER911
I agree with you, and would say that anyone that can get a great smoothie with what ever machine they can, is a great move. However, for anyone that wants to make committed lifestyle changes in their meal choices, then it would likely mean a switch to smoothies and daily usage of a quality blender. Ice is the biggest problem for most blenders as it can eliminate blender durability. At $69, the cost to periodically replace an HB DWB would actually be more costly in the long run.

sounds nastey
sorry

@PE425

i just dont want people thinking that they HAVE to buy a Blendtec to be able to make smoothies, because those blenders are the best no doubt, but they are NOT necessary to make smoothies of high quality

@PE425

Oh absolutely im not denying that Obviously these $ 400 high tech blenders are better and more powerful, no doubt

all im saying is too many people think that because they cant afford such an expensive machine, that means they cant make smoothies because these types of blenders are NECESSARY

Not True ! The Hamilton Beach Dual Wave Blender has 2 seperate motors and 2 blades in one unit, for $ 60 its a great blender and functions fine for this purpose

ACEBAKER911 ,
I sincerely believe what you are saying initially, but there is far more capability than what you think is available with a Hamilton Beach blender. Keep going!!!

Hey if someone can afford a $ 400 Blendtec i say great, enjoy it !

but Most of us out here in the heartland of America simply CANNOT afford such an expensive machine.

i have found that ANY blender over 750 Watts is more than adequate for this purpose.

a Blendtec is excellent obviously, but its NOT needed . Too many people feel terrible that they cant afford this machine so that means they cant make green smoothies

FALSE

Get a Hamilton Beach Dual Wave Blender, it has a very powerful motor and can make Green Smoothies and its only $ 60 !

its a BLENDTEC blender, and they are super expensive at $ 400 !

You dont have to spend so much to make green smoothies. Go on Ebay there are TONS of high powered blenders there for low prices under $ 130 !

could you tell me what kind of blender that is please?

Wow. That’s a LOT of greens!

well the by product of eating so much greens/veg is stronger immune system. Concern yourself more with weather your eating veg or not in the first place.

@bobbyjans Honestly I am concerned…have you never eaten an apple, an orange, a banana, lettuce, berries, any of these things? You don’t have to cook plant food….

@bobbyjans Food borne illnesses in meat and other animals products are caused by bacteria from animal waste, infected foods given to the animals, and terrible living conditions from animals that are slaughtered. Fruits and veggies are only contaminated if they somehow come into contact with infected animal products. If they do not have contact with animal products and grown in a safe environment without pollution, there is absolutely no reason why it would be unsafe to eat raw fruit or veggies.

On my channel soon when i get a new camera i wil show people how to make lots of smoothies!! join me and add me!

Thanks a lot for telling us what the liquid was in the blender already and how much of that mystery liquid you used. I mean, that would be somewhat helpful don’t you think? Sheesh.

if you’re worries about eating raw food simply make sure to soak greens, rinse and spray with vinegar, and then consumer grade hydrogen peroxide (3%) and allow to air dry. this will kill any harmful bacteria.

Also, just know that you are far more likely to be sickened by meat and dairy products than by raw vegetables and fruits.

Enjoy the runs. LMAO

No, Jamba Juice uses Blendtec. In fact, most other franchises use Blendtec over VM, due to power, performance, consistency, and reliability. As for the tamper… it IS a bad thing! If you are following Blendtec instructions, you’ll discover that you don’t need a tamper. BTW: For some of the few franchises that use VM, you will notice that these are commercial VM models with carafs & blades that are copycat of Blendtec! VM does this because they know the Blendtec design is clearly superior!

eggshen27,
That is NOT true at all. Blendtec runs circles around VM. Just check vids from Matt Monarch’s comparison tests, and you anyone would see that Blendtec is the clear winner! As for the Blendtec warranty, you get 7 years (same as VM), except the motor and blade have LIFETIME warranty, which you cannot get with VM. Get your facts straight!

doens’t anyone get worried with the possibility of food-borne illnesses that raw veggies pose? Green smoothie is a great idea but how do we overcome the risks? Dip ‘em veggies in boiling water for few secs? lol
