What is the best way to make an all natural fruit smoothie?
I am looking for the best way to make a HEALTHY ALL natural fruit smoothie. Using no sugar syrups, ice cream or any crushed ice. Does anyone have any recipes or suggestions? I am looking for a nice consistency “thickness” to the smoothie also. Thank you.

use frozen fruit to start with. Frozen peaches or strawberries seem to work best for me. Then combine by whizzing it around in the blender with some fresh squeezed OJ. No extra sugar, no ice, but it will give you a smooth frozen consistency.

Adding avocado to smoothies give it a really thick and creamy texture. It may affect the taste of the smoothie, though. My favorite recipe:
Very Merry Berry
½ - ¾ cup of berries (any combination - I like blue and straw)
1/3 Banana - you can add more, but remember, they have lots of sugar
1/3 - ½ juice (I like a combination of orange and pomegranate)
1/8 sm. avocado
Blend until smooth
the amount of fruit you add depends on how much you want, but I make this during juice fasts
This is one of my all time favourites.
Freshly squeezed orange juice blitzed in the blender with half a glass of fresh but frozen raspberries. This will give a good thick smoothie with an explosion of taste. Enjoy.
well you can use a variety of different fruits. you could use frozen fruits and fresh fruit. add some juice, milk, sorbet or yougurt to your smoothie.
Sunrise smoothie
1 cup chopped ripe strawberries (5 large strawberries)
1 cup chopped seeded watermelon
1 cup chopped fresh peach
1 cup raspberry sorbet
1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
Place the strawberries, watermelon, peach, sorbet, and orange juice in a blender and puree until smooth and creamy. Add more orange juice if you’d like it a little less thick. Serve immediately in tall glasses with straws.
Wake up smoothie
1 large ripe banana, peeled and sliced
1 cup hulled strawberries
1/2 cup raspberries, or peeled and sliced kiwi (about 2)
1 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons honey
Place all the ingredients in the blender and process on high speed until smooth, about 30 to 45 seconds.
Pour into glasses and serve.
Fresh fruit smoothie
1/2 cup soy milk (or other milk)
1/2 cup white grape juice
1 cup strawberries, stemmed
1/2 cup pineapple chunks
1/2 lemon, squeezed (for tartness if desired)
1/4 teaspoon Vitamin C powder (1 capsule)
Pinch salt, preferable grey salt
Small handful fresh seedless grapes
Add all ingredients to blender. Blend until smooth.
